Title: The Fabulous Adventure of Lexie the Giraffe
Author: Falcon Whitaker
Rating: 13+ for complete insanity
Feedback/Concrit Welcome?: Yes please
Summary: A ridiculous children's-book-style tale for silly grown-ups like me about a dissatisfied giraffe.
Author's Note: This is a present for [info]luchalibrarian, a.k.a. Becca. She is awesome.

Somewhere in the world, there is a happy little zoo with elegant stonework and large sprawling enclosures where the animals live... )

Title: Lord of Lies
Author: Falcon Whitaker
Rating: MT (Mature Teen - 16+) for some dark themes
Feedback/Concrit Welcome?: Yes please
Summary: You came into this world bloody, naked and screaming. Remember it? It happened. Slick with your mother’s blood, tied to her insides by a rope of flesh, you were banished from her body to scream and writhe in the hands of strangers...
Author's Note: This is what happens when I read too much Neil Gaiman.

Original Work
Title: Cellar Door
Author: Falcon Whitaker
Rating: MT (Mature Teen - 16+) for some dark themes
Feedback/Concrit Welcome?: Yes please
Summary: Nothing ever changed. Not really. Every time he pretended that it would make a difference to him, but it never did. It never would.
Author's Note: I found this in the pile of old writing and thought it was extremely chilling and bizarre, so I gave it a quick polish, typed it up and, well, posted it. Enjoy!

It was always so forlorn once she was gone... )

Original Work - Tale (At Joey's)

Original Work
Title: At Joey's
Author: Falcon Whitaker
Rating: MT (Mature Teen - 16+) for violence and swearing
Feedback/Concrit Welcome?: Yes please
Summary: The only illumination in that dark, damp alleyway came from the flickering neon sign that hung on one wall. "Joey's", it said, without bothering to explain what the Joey of the establishment actually did. It didn't need to. Everybody knew what Joey sold...
Author's Note: This is what you get when you go through the pile of old writing under your bed, find an old and somewhat poor Akira fanfic, gut it and re-write it as original fiction. Hope you enjoy it.
